Sponsored boxer, Caoimhin Agyarko racked up yet another impressive win on Saturday night, making it 9 in a row since turning professional. He beat Mexican opponent Ernesto Olvera who stayed in his corner and didn’t return for the fourth round. The fight was televised on BT Sport and was held at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire.
Paul Sargent, Chief Executive, Queensberry commented:
“A fantastic fight. Caoimhin controlled the pace rising to the occasion and beating Ernesto, a worthy competitor, in the 3rd round. It was Caoimhin’s first fight this year and the hard work he put into his ‘boot camp’ training paid off. He’s in great physical form and I know his objective for 2021 is to land a title fight! It’s going to be a big year!”
Caoimhin Agyarko added:
“What a fight, I put my heart, my soul and my absolute everything into that match and I’m still buzzing. I’m in the best shape of my life both physically and mentally and the 13 week training camp paid off. I’m at my fittest right now and keen to fight again as soon as it is possible. Thank you Paul for being there; it was incredible to be back fighting in front of my fans and sponsors.”
